The Perfect Starting Point

B&B Palazzo Mirelli is located in the heart of Chiaia, in the elegant setting of Mergellina, one of Naples’ most charming and prestigious neighbourhoods. Its privileged location, just a few steps from the sea and the waterfront, allows guests to experience the authentic atmosphere of the city while remaining perfectly connected to its historic centre and main attractions.

Just a short walk from Palazzo Mirelli, the new Arco Mirelli station on Metro Line 6 provides a convenient gateway to the heart of Naples, making it easy to reach many of the city’s most iconic and fascinating places. Mergellina station on Metro Line 2, part of Naples’ historic metropolitan railway connecting the Central Station area with Pozzuoli, is also approximately a five-minute walk from the B&B.

Mergellina is also home to the marina and passenger harbour, located just moments from Palazzo Mirelli, with Alilauro hydrofoils departing for Ischia and the Aeolian Islands—an ideal starting point for discovering some of the most beautiful islands of the Mediterranean.

For exploring Posillipo, ANM bus 140 offers a convenient connection to destinations such as Bagno Elena, Pausilya Therme and, further uphill, the magnificent Parco Virgiliano. The bus stop is located just outside Palazzo Mirelli, making it particularly easy to discover this spectacular part of the Neapolitan coastline.

The Mergellina Funicular provides another convenient way to reach the hillside of Posillipo, including areas such as Via Manzoni, while enjoying easy connections between the waterfront and the upper neighbourhoods.

The elegant shopping streets, restaurants, cafés and vibrant nightlife of Chiaia are approximately a 10–15 minute walk away. The journey itself is part of the experience: enjoy a beautiful stroll through the Villa Comunale or along Lungomare Caracciolo in the direction of Castel dell’Ovo.

Alternatively, several buses stop directly opposite the B&B and will take you towards the heart of Chiaia in just a few stops, including Piazza San Pasquale and Piazza Vittoria.
